The Sun and Stars

Step 1:  Write 'Sun and Stars' in your Table of Contents in your Science Journal
Step 2:  Go to the next open page in your journal and Title it 'Sun And Stars'
Step 3:  Write the 'I Can' Statement at the top of the page
             I can identify the sun as the closest star to earth.
             I can recognize the sun as a medium sized star and the only star in our solar system.
​             I can define a star and constellation and give examples of each.
             I can explain why stars appear so small in the night sky and how telescopes help us see them better
             I can describe some ways that stars are different from each other

Step 4:  Watch the videos below and read the information in the links listed below
Step 5:  Take notes in your journal of each of vocabulary terms listed below
​Step 6:  Answer each of the Essential Questions in your journal
​Step 7:  Show your teacher your journal and notes before moving on
Step 8:  Go back to Google Classroom and complete the activity in Google Classroom
